Active Cheshire achieve “World Class”
Customers rate the Cheshire based charity as “World Class” after filling out their annual Net Promotor Score (NPS). The NPS is a tool created for continuous improvement, designed for customer feedback measuring level of satisfaction, quality of service, value added and impact of work.
Active Cheshire are the lead body for physical activity in Warrington and Cheshire, and their job is to engage, educate, enable, inspire and influence the local community as well as a wide range of organisations, stakeholders and partners locally, nationally and even globally to become more active.
Given the NPS range of -100 to +100, a “positive” score or NPS above 0 is considered “good”, +50 is “Excellent,” and above 70 is considered “world class”. Active Cheshire are proud to announce that following the NPS results of 71 from December 2019, they have been awarded a world class status by their customers.
Through the launch of two new products, Active Cheshire has helped more than 60 businesses and 98 schools directly over the past 12 months creating opportunities for over 80,000 employees and children to get active.
Throughout the evaluation of their NPS score, anonymous comments made on their work included, “The enthusiasm and positive engagement from the officers. Always striving to help achieve and reduce those health inequalities.”
Dr Paul Hancock OBE, Chair of Active Cheshire stated “30 years ago we were established to improve the health and wellbeing of local people through physical activity and sport. I’m so pleased to hear that we continue to deliver just that – to a standard that pleases our customers and delivers impact.”
Anne Boyd, CEO from Active Cheshire commented “We are delighted to receive such positive feedback during our 30th year anniversary. We take feedback seriously as a mechanism to improve our offer and service and are surprised and delighted with results. As part of a wider health system, our efforts can only deliver results with the support of wider partners, to whom we are very grateful.”
The objective of Active Cheshire is to change the lives of local people through physical activity and sport. In fact, most of what Active Cheshire does is to do with change. Encouraging behavioural change, changing attitudes, mindsets, and habits. The Charity are constantly learning to adapt to the needs and challenges of working with an increasingly inactive society.
