Clubmark is the universally acknowledged accreditation for Community Sports Clubs. It is based on a set of criteria, supported by evidence based on four different areas of club development. Once completed, the evidence is submitted to the licensing organisation. For many, this is their National Governing Body and for others it is their local County Sports Partnership.
Achieving Clubmark can be a daunting experience however, there are people available in your licensing organisation to help you through the process, so persevere.
Clubmark will not guarantee the success of the club moving forwards but what it does is recognise the club operates at a quality standard and that the club provides a safe operating environment whilst having the appropriate pathways for competition.
