Working with Active Cheshire - National/Local Partnership Event

Friday 10th July 2015

Halliwell Jones Stadium, Warrington

We know that over 186,000 adults in Cheshire and Warrington currently lead sedentary lifestyles, the direct cost of inactivity in the sub-region exceeds £17 million per year, inactivity alone contributes to over 2,000 premature deaths annually in the region. These are shocking statistics that we have the power to influence together, for this reason we want to invite you to share in our vision for Cheshire and Warrington.

Our approach to introducing you to our vision is to be split into two sessions providing specific detail for you as a value partner or future partner of Active Cheshire dependent upon your existing or potential connections with us as a strategic commissioner of Sport and Physical Activity in the sub region.

Across all sectors within our thematic structure we aim to support you in learning about the state of our area with regards to physical activity and sport, how you can linking this to our objectives & vision for 2017, highlighting where this supports local and national objectives supported by current practice and insight.

We want to provide you with a clear understanding of our offer to you as a valued customer including support and key services available from Active Cheshire. This will include practical examples and ways to engage with us as well as improving your understanding of how we could add value to your existing programmes helping to support a shared vision of getting more people across Cheshire and Warrington active.
