Active Cheshire have been coordinating the West Cheshire Walking festival brochure on behalf of Cheshire West and Chester Council and wider partners.
West Cheshire Walking festival brochure brings over 130 walks from all over Cheshire West and Chester, offering something for everyone. Led by trained volunteer leaders, the walks will take you into some of the most stunning scenery in Cheshire West and Chester both new and familiar whilst experiencing the benefit and pleasure of walking.
The festival brochure launches on the 5th April, National Walking day with the festival kicking off on the 1st May. The festival will run for the whole of May with a whole host of walks for all interests. The festival brochure has been pulled together by Active Cheshire with support and input from many organisations including Age UK Cheshire, Brio Leisure and Macmillan Cancer Support.
Anne Boyd, CEO of Active Cheshire said:
“The brochure shares over 130 walks catering for all kinds of abilities and interests, offering something for everyone. Partnerships like this are exactly what we need to help tackle physical inactivity in our area and make best use of our fantastic outdoor spaces. Active Cheshire are so proud to have been involved in the coordination of the festival and look forward to seeing some great images of people engaging with the walks”
