Active Cheshire Ambassador, Alex, hosts Walk for Nepal

Alex Staniforth

Active Cheshire's Active Lifestyle Ambassador Alex Staniforth has organised a Walk for Nepal to raise much needed funds following the devestating earthquake which took over 8,000 lives in April 2015. Alex was actually on Everest at the time of the earthquake and caught up in the difficulties. Please join Alex and help support his efforts to raise money towards the rebuilding of Nepal whilst getting active with your families on Sunday 26th July!

On the 25th April 2015, a 7.8Mw earthquake shattered Nepal and took over 8,000 lives across a beautiful nation of people, who give so much when they have so little. Houses are ruined and unsafe to live in, schools are crumbled to the ground and hospitals cannot cope with the huge number of severely injured people. Families are torn apart, children orphaned, and living in tents.

Please join our fundraising walk and enjoy the countryside to show your support for this wonderful nation.
